WORLD PERCUSSION ZONE

A journey of Musical Exploration (relaxing non instructing and self expression)
The room is filled with an array of instruments from all over the world, like an Alladins cave of drums. gongs, percussion, shakers, cymbals, whistles etc. Some familiar some not but the person invited to explore everything to let themselves indulge like a child in a sweet shop.
This is has been designed purely for people to allow there creativity and basic childlike inquisitive nature to come out.

After a while the musician will demonstrate how some of the instruments are played and the different ways they can be played. Again the group are invited to rediscover the new sounds to be made and the musician interacting and encouraging the group to make music together without them realising it until the session ends with a composition they have created through interacting with each other.

This session can last for 30-60 mins and is a perfect compliment to a Samba drumming session and smaller intimate groups.
